Meet LaDonna and Brandon. This beautiful couple got married a couple weeks ago and had a very intimate ceremony with only their children and the officiant who is a close friend of the bride. I arrived for getting ready photos and the bride and groom were getting ready in the same place. This really helped to make the day stress free. The weather forecast for the whole week leading up to this day called for showers and we were totally ready for it. But the ceremony, portraits, and everything in between took place without a drop of rain. After the ceremony, we went for a few more portraits on the beach armed with the umbrellas they planned to use and very soon after saw the clouds rolling in. They got the rain they had been hoping for, a fun time on the beach, and the day was sealed with a kiss. We all went back to their hotel room to dry off and warm up. It was such a pleasure to be chosen for this special day. I have to say that these images are some of my favorites taken this year and I am glad this wedding wrapped up my 2013 wedding season.
